The 2 piece carbon blank has a fairly crisp feel and the tip to middle action is perfect for casting and working a wide range of lures. The rod is fitted with the single leg Shimano Hardlite guides and the improved screw winch and reshaped abbreviated duplon grips give the CX Sea Bass a modern look.

The 270 model is ideal for working a wide range of lures and it is suitable for use with metals, hard baits (including small surface lures) and soft baits.

Reel - The Catana 3000HGFD offers Shimano lure reel quality at a very reasonable price. The striking red finish help it to stand out from the crowd and the shielded ball bearings, Varispeed line lay and AR-C spool give it the performance that you could only get from Shimano's top models but a few years ago.
